Nicky Jenkins is a highly-qualified personal trainer and exercise kinesiologist, nutrition and lifestyle coach, sports therapist, myofascial therapist, mindfulness and yoga teacher. She's is also one of the most awesome people we know and being in her presents is alway a pleasure and a giggle.

Travel Yoga Mat Manduka super light travel mat - love this - I can fold it, roll it, it maintains it’s shape mine is bright orange which makes me just want to jump on it and practice. It’s super sticky too.

Massage Wax  While working with clients I may need to do some bodywork, release muscle spasm or tight fascia, pain, so part of my approach is tissue work, it’s much easier to carry it with me than end up using some Virgin Olive Oil which I have had to do before.

MORNING OR NIGHT WORKOUT

Morning is for my sitting practice, I do a few wake up movements, shaking and tapping the body then a pranayama practice followed by meditation.  If I do cardio training it will be in the morning - Yoga Practice in the afternoon - evening’s have never been a great time for me to exercise, tend to be teaching.

Bare feet every time!!!!

 

POST CLASS SMOOTHIE OR CAFFEINE BLAST

My new favourite is Matcha Latte using almond milk and a dash of Maple Syrup

 

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IT YOU WEREN'T A YOGA/MINDFULNESS INSTRUCTOR?

A writer!! although I have co authored one book, I would like to explore it further.
